Vineyards
Westside Farms, our 75-acre ranch on Westside Road, has been in use as farmland since the middle 1800s. Almost a third of the property remains as wild, riparian habitat.

Brix: 24.0˚ average
Soil: The Pinot Noir is planted on an east-facing slope where soil is mostly Sobrante clay loam, with 5 to over 75% metamorphic rock (greenstone, blueschist, and greywacke).
Clones: 34% Pommard, 29% 115, 21% 777, 10% 667, 6% 828
AVA: Russian River Valley
Winemaking
Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir
Fermentation: Tank fermented with native yeast and 5% whole cluster. Native malolactic fermentation in barrel
Aging: As traditionally practiced in Burgundy, we use an anaerobic approach with our Pinot Noir to preserve freshness. It is aged sur lies with monthly bâtonnage and spent 20 months in 50% new French barrels (Taransaud & François Frères). The wine was then lightly fined with egg white and bottled without filtration in June 2025.
