The 2006 vintage started out slowly, with cool temperatures from March through June, pointing to a later than normal harvest.  A ten-day heat wave in July pushed the season along, though, and these vineyards were harvested fully mature during the second half of October.

This vintage is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot.

Our third vintage from this small, outstanding vineyard on the lower slopes of the eastern Oakville hills.  Pedregal indicates “stony place” in Spanish, and that is certainly a distinguishing feature of the site.
