This wine is a blend of Hudson (16%), Sangiacomo El Novillero (70%), and our new Sonoma Coast vineyard (14%). The Hudson is from the lower portion of F block. The Sangiacomo vineyards have formed the base of past Carneros blends. Our Sonoma Coast vineyard is located at the crest of Stage Gulch Road, between Petaluma and Carneros—a cold spot at the southern base of Sonoma Mountain. This is its second crop, and is the Long Vineyards selection.
