An 11-acre vineyard planted in 1998, this is our second harvest from this site. Located off Diamond Mountain Road above Diamond Creek Vineyard, the soil is gravelly clay-loam and the vine rows run up and down the hillside, rather than being terraced. Being from young vines, this vintage was improved by blending 5% Merlot from the Jericho Canyon Vineyard. Blend composition is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot, and 15% Petite Verdot.
