An eleven-acre vineyard planted in 1998, this is the first harvest from this site. Located off Diamond Mountain Road above Diamond Creek Vineyard, the soil is gravelly clay-loam and the vine rows run up and down the hillside rather than being terraced. Being from young vines, this vintage was improved by blending in 15% Merlot from the Jericho Canyon Vineyard. The blend composition is 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 12% Petite Verdot and 7% Cabernet Franc.
