The 2012 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard is very expressive today. Bright, floral and lifted in style, the 2012 presents a gorgeous combination of vibrant, intense fruit with savory overtones. Crushed rose petals, mint and sweet raspberries are all laced into the energetic, pulsating finish. The 2012 was made from fully destemmed fruit. This is a terrific showing for the Platt, here in its first vintage. There will be no 2013, but production resumes with 2014.
