Review

Fermented with 5% Viognier and 25% whole cluster, the 2007 Ramey Syrah Sonoma Coast sports gamey, meaty aromatics of black fruits, smoked meat, licorice, pepper, and loads of crushed stone. Straight up rocking aromatics, the palate is just as good and shows medium to full body, solid concentration, juicy acidity, and a long, clean finish. Impressive for its complexity, as well as for its focus and precision on the palate, this should drink beautifully for 15 years.
