Pungent, spice-accented aromas of dark berry preserves, cherry pit, olive and cracked pepper; smells like a serious northern Rhone wine. Bright, tightly focused blackberry and cassis flavors show serious depth and surprising vivacity. A tangy mineral note adds cut to the long, sappy finish.
