Bright ruby.  Fragrant, expansive aromas of red fruit compote, potpourri and smoky minerals, with a hint of blood orange adding an exotic twist.  Sappy, penetrating and intensely fruity on the palate, offering sweet raspberry and rose pastille flavors lifted by tangy acidity.  The floral note repeats strongly on the finish, which is tight, youthfully tannic and long.  This is Davis Ramey's first pinot noir under his own label.
