The Hudson Vineyard bottling is equally good, in a more firmly structured style. It is full bodied and supple, with excellent depth and balance, and displays a bit more restrained fruitiness (pear, pineapple, lemon peel) than the Hyde. It finishes with overtones of spicy oak and toast.
