Ramey produced excellent 2011 reds, as these attest. The Pedregal Vineyard is better still: fleshy in texture and ripely flavored; a rich Cabernet with fine character (cassis, black currant, blueberry jam), good balance, and a long, mildly tannic, spicy-toasty finish.
