2012 Pinot Noir, Platt Vineyard is slated to be release in April 2014 as the first ever Pinot Noir from Ramey.  The nose is ambrosia of old berries, florals and herbs with whiffs of lilac and underlying elderberry.  The palate is solid and youthful with bright cranberry, currant and elderberry.  Certaily an auspicious debut.  Platt makes for some of Ramey's most intellcutal offerings.  Drink 2014-2020.
