Review
The wine showed a dark ruby color. Blackberry, raspberry, cherry cola, cassis, vanilla and oak each arrived on an ethereal nose. Blackberry, raspberry preserves, cherry cola, dark chocolate, licorice and oak followed on the palate that showed bold, yet nicely balanced berry fruit. The wine exhibited excellent structure and length, along with velvety tannins. This lushly-textured wine would pair well with braised lamb shanks or a rich beef stew.
