Review
This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Carneros is very good. It opens with a pleasant lemon and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and nicely coats the mouth. The flavor profile is a pear and vanilla oak blend with notes of butter scotch and a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Chardonnay is pretty refined. Its elevated acidity is the only thing holding it back from the next level. That said this is a top tier Chard that would pair well with chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken
