The most open of the Ramey newcomers, this wine has a fresh, almost juicy, pulpy energy and gets both range and richness from a nicely crafted addition of creamy, quietly toasty oak. It is full
on the palate and supple in feel with plenty of underlying acid to keep it in balance, and does not demand the cellar aging of its mates above. Yet it still has room to fill out and find even more polish with time in bottle.
