Review
Following the Ramey style for Chardonnay, this wine is at once both on the nervy side and the ripe, somewhat expressive side. Its tilt towards a flinty note in its appley fruit is juxtaposed against a spot of clove-like spice and hints of caramel in its aromas, and again in its ripe apple flavors. It is nicely supple in mouthfeel with a citrusy edge that influences its taste more than it does its texture. Like its mate from the Hyde Vineyard, this one has all the makings of a wine that will age well.
