Medium to medium-dark ruby; herbal, dark cherry and blackberry fruit aroma with spicy notes and hints of cassis and pencil lead; full body; tight, moderately rich, firmly structured, dark fruit flavors with a note of toasty oak; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Approachable now though best to age for several more years. Very highly recommended.
