Review

“Annum,” Napa Valley ($100) – Medium-dark ruby; attractive, intense, spicy, cedary, cassis and black cherry fruit aroma with a light hint of mint; full body; forward, rich, textured, red and black fruit flavors with good depth; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows good depth and some complexity and will continue to develop with some bottle aging. Very highly recommended. 14.5% alcohol; 215 cases; 100% CS; released September 2013.
