Medium-dark ruby; attractive, forward, complex, black cherry and dark berry fruit aroma with a light floral note and hints of dried herbs, smoked meat, and white pepper; full body; rich, cedary, peppery, textured, blackberry fruit flavors with good depth and well integrated fruit and oak; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Deserving at least several more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended.
