Medium to medium-dark ruby; attractive, intense, cedary, cassis and black cherry fruit aroma with hints of dried herbs and dark chocolate; full body; big, rich, concentrated, textured, red and black fruit flavors with firm structure and well integrated oak; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows good depth and some complexity as it developed with airing in the glass, and should reward five more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended.
